TYRA RIPLEY, Psy.D. received her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology in 2004. Dr. Ripley continued on as faculty and a clinical supervisor at the same program she graduated from; teaching, training and supervising psychology students on assessment and the implementation of different counseling techniques. . She also spent many years working in public, private and charter school systems and correctional facilities with children, adolescents and their families, providing counseling and assessment. She tailored her therapy according to the patient’s therapeutic needs, based on their symptoms, diagnosis, levels of dysfunction and environmental and social factors.
Dr. Ripley moved to the Cincinnati area from Arizona in 2013. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and families helping them to adjust and cope with their academic struggles, developmental delays, social stressors and family dynamics. Also, she has worked with adults providing couples and marital therapy focusing on communication skills and emotional regulation.
