Education and Training

PPS is a strong believer in the importance of disseminating knowledge. We have been actively educating patients, families and community partners about psychiatric illnesses and addictive disorders. Additionally, we have recently engaged with two academic institutions to collaborate in the training process of furnishing competent graduates. These graduates will be capable of understanding the disease process and how disease presentation is impacted by other variables of the diseased individual such as personality, environment and genetics.

I- current collaboration with academic institutions include:

  • Wright State University, School of Nursing: working with psychiatry Nurse practitioners.
  • Sinclair Community College,
  • Warren county career center to help
