Mark Querry, Ph.D.

Dr. Querry is a clinical and forensic psychologist. He was educated and trained at Kent State University and the Ohio State University. He has experience working in a variety of settings, including the Ohio prison system, higher education, law enforcement, hospital emergency rooms, police and sheriff departments and the Department of Defense in consultation and intervention.  Dr. Querry provides comprehensive behavioral health evaluations and psychotherapy, as well as consultation in the private sector.

He is a clinician at Professional Psychiatric Services, where he specializes in both mental and emotional disorders as well as the addictions. He also has expertise working with the military population including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, reintegration adjustment issues to civilian life, Major Depression and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

Dr. Querry has served on medical staff at Ohio Health / Grady Memorial Hospital, in Delaware, Ohio, where he has worked in the emergency room and ICU/CCU in crisis and at-risk situations. He also served as a member of the Hospital Emergency Medicine Committee.

Dr. Querry is trained and certified as a Disability Specialist in the Ohio Worker’s Compensation system in Occupational Medicine, and has been a member on the State of Ohio Worker’s Compensation Disability Evaluator’s Panel.

He also serves as a consultant to police and sheriff departments on suicide and homicide assessments and provides critical incident stress debriefing within traumatic situations, including bank robberies, police shootings and assaults.

He is a national consultant for the United States Department of Defense on mid-eastern conflicts, including preparing armed services troops for engaging in combat deployment and helping them adjust when they return home. He has also worked with the military during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita across several southern states, consulting in operations for the US Navy, the US Marine Corp, the US Air Force and the US Army.

Dr. Querry has been trained by the FBI in hostage negotiation, first responder intervention and workplace violence and school shooting situations.

Dr. Querry is taking new patients in most areas of his expertise such as depression, anxiety, life adjustment, military veterans, addiction (substance abuse, gambling and internet problems), relationship issues, stress management and occupational problems. He strives to have effective, working relationships with those he serves to find realistic solutions.
