Assistant Medical Director
Rhoda Chamberlain is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and later her Masters of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University. Before joining PPS in 2019, she worked in the primary care setting where she discovered her passion for psychiatric care. Rhoda was born and raised in the Cincinnati area and hopes to foster more openness about mental health in the place she calls home. Rhoda brings a holistic approach to the care of children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with their mental health or addiction. She especially loves working with the adolescent population and believes building trust and effective communication are essential to comprehensive care.
Rhoda recognizes the overwhelming need for advancement in psychiatric treatment. Currently, she works as a rater/sub-investigator for clinical research to help assess the available psychiatric medications on the market and develop new medications to help patients better manage their symptoms. Recently, she became a certified Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) provider and is excited to offer this service as an alternative treatment option.
Since 2021, Rhoda serves as the Assistant Medical Director. She believes each patient encounter is important and strives to support patients, families, and staff. Rhoda enjoys working alongside the Medical Director, Dr. Aziz and team to ensure PPS is providing the highest level of care.
