About the Role
Professional Psychiatric Services is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
We are looking for a nurse practitioner who can work well with individuals and families to treat behavioral and mental illnesses to help our patients ultimately improve their lives. We are seeking a candidate who has:
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
-Strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques and medications used to assist with mental health or addiction treatment
-Demonstrated ability to operate within ethical and professional standards of care
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team to meet patients’ needs
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements
-Master’s (Required)
-Ohio Nurse Practitioner License (NP) (Required)
-Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
-Prefer if candidates are credentialed with local insurance panels but not necessary
