Katrina Shropshire

LISW, LICDC

Katrina Shropshire is a licensed independent counselor specializing in mental health and substance use care for adolescents and adults. She brings extensive experience supporting individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and other complex mental health challenges.
 

She has worked across a variety of settings including outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, and telehealth programs—providing both individual and family counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention.

Katrina’s approach integrates evidence-based therapies with individualized treatment planning, helping clients build resilience and achieve long-term wellness. Her collaborative style ensures clients feel supported while addressing their unique needs in a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment.

Katrina is also trained in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral interventions, and the 12-step recovery model. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She also holds a Preliminary Gambling Disorder Endorsement (PG) from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. She is committed to empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.
