What is a Residential Treatment Program?
The Serapis Residential Program at Professional Psychiatric Services provides 24-hour residential mental health treatment for adults experiencing significant mental health challenges. Our program offers structured therapeutic support in a safe environment while helping individuals build the skills needed for long-term recovery and wellness.
We serve adults ages 18 and older whose primary diagnosis is a mental health condition, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders.

Residential treatment provides around-the-clock support in a therapeutic setting.

Unlike outpatient treatment, residents live on-site while participating in structured programming throughout the day. This level of care allows individuals to focus fully on recovery while receiving consistent support from a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Who Can Benefit from Residential Treatment?
Residential treatment may be appropriate for men and women age 18+ who:
